Your Tax Solutions is a woman-owned firm in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with more than 85 years of combined experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and tax. We work with small business owners and individuals who want their books handled properly and their questions answered by someone who knows their name.
We handle bookkeeping and payroll for clients across Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, and Tennessee, and prepare tax returns nationwide.
Sally Harrod
President & Tax Specialist
Sally founded Your Tax Solutions in 2024 after 25 years in tax and accounting. She comes from four generations of entrepreneurs, which means she understands business from both sides of the desk — not just the return, but what it took to earn the numbers on it.
She prepares business and individual returns, manages bookkeeping and payroll for small business clients, and handles multi-state filings for people who live and work across state lines.
Sally holds an IRS Annual Filing Season Program Record of Completion and is an Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Outside the office she plays ball with her Cavaliers and watches the sunset from her deck.
Debbie Watson
Accounting & Tax Specialist
Debbie brings more than 40 years in accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice auditing, and office management across legal, financial services, and nonprofit organizations.
A former business owner herself, she brings an owner’s perspective to every client. She’s the one who spots the discrepancy nobody else caught, and she won’t let a reconciliation go until the numbers actually agree.
Debbie is an Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Originally from Vermont, she enjoys entertaining friends and family and spending time at home with her cats, Garfield and Xerxes.
Crystal Maum
Administrative & Client Specialist
Crystal brings 25 years of professional experience and a keen eye for detail to everything from document intake to client scheduling.
She’s usually the first person you’ll talk to, and she takes that seriously — organized, accurate, and genuinely glad you called. Her job is making sure nothing falls through the cracks and that you never feel like a file number.

Who will I actually work with?
You’ll work directly with Sally, Debbie, and Crystal. We’re a three-person firm, so you won’t be handed off to someone different every time you call. Most clients work primarily with Sally on tax and bookkeeping matters.
Are you taking new clients?
Yes. We’re currently accepting new bookkeeping and payroll clients, and we take new tax preparation clients year-round.
Do you work with clients outside Elizabethtown?
We handle bookkeeping and payroll for clients across Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, and Tennessee, and we prepare tax returns for clients nationwide. Much of our work is done remotely, so you don’t need to be local to work with us.
What software do you use?
We work in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and Drake for tax preparation. Sally and Debbie are both QuickBooks ProAdvisors. If you’re already using QuickBooks, we can usually work in your existing file.
Do I have to come into the office?
No. We’re happy to meet in person at our Elizabethtown office, and we also work with clients entirely by phone, email, and secure file exchange.
